What a LEGO® Serious Play® session costs.
Most facilitators won't put a number on a page, so you end up on a call before you know whether it's even within reach. Here is the number, what sits inside it, and what moves it.
From AU$2,995 (+GST)
That covers the session end to end — the discovery call that designs it, every brick on the table, a certified facilitator running the room, and the written action list afterwards.
Two ways to run it.
Pricing scales with the size of the decision on your table, not with how many extras get added on. Both tiers are facilitated end to end by a certified facilitator, from question design to written action list.

Four things change the price. Nothing else does.
You should be able to work out roughly where you'll land before you speak to anyone, so here is what the quote actually responds to.
The size of the decision
One focus question the team can work through in a single room is the base. A question that needs diagnosing before it can even be asked properly takes a longer arc, and that shows up in the number.
One room, or several at once
A single facilitated table is the Spark Session. Once the group is large enough to need parallel rooms running at the same time, it needs more facilitators, and that becomes The Big Build.
Where the room is
Melbourne sessions are priced as listed. Chris travels Australia-wide, and travel is quoted openly alongside the session rather than buried in the total.
When you need it
Weekday sessions are the standard. Weekends and after-hours are available if that's what your calendar needs, and that's the other thing that can shift a quote.
There is no per-head materials charge, no premium tier that gets you the better bricks, and no add-on for the written summary or the follow-up call. Those are in every session at every price. If a quote ever comes back higher than the conversation suggested, it's because the decision got bigger — and you'll hear why before you sign anything.
Included every time — whichever tier you choose.
- A pre-workshop discovery call to design the session around your challenge
- All LEGO® materials — nothing to buy, nothing to prepare
- A certified facilitator, Victoria-based, guiding every step from start to finish
- A written summary of decisions, owners, and deadlines
- A 30-day follow-up call to check the actions actually landed
- Weekend sessions if that's what your calendar needs
Every participant takes home their own LEGO® Serious Play® mini bag.
Everyone leaves with their own kit in hand — so your team can run their own brainstorm, planning and analysis sessions long after the workshop ends.
If the room doesn't decide, the follow-up session is on us.
The whole promise is that a decision walks out of the room. If your team doesn't reach one on the question we agreed in the discovery call, Chris runs the follow-up session at no charge until it does.
All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
What the meetings are already costing.
Worth holding the price against what's being spent now, because the meetings that aren't working are not free either.
The Australian Financial Review put the cost of unproductive meetings at roughly $39,000 per employee per year, with about six hours a week going into sessions people describe as unimportant. Harvard Business Review has 71% of meetings landing as unproductive.
We're not going to claim a single session wins all of that back. What it does is end one specific loop — the decision that keeps getting deferred to the next meeting, and the meeting after that. If you know which decision that is for your team, you already know what it has cost to keep not making it.
Still weighing it up? Seven signs a workshop would pay off, and the honest version — when a workshop is the wrong answer.
The questions people ask about price.
Is the price plus GST?
Yes. AU$2,995 is exclusive of GST, and every quote states the GST separately so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Does the number of people change the price?
Not on its own. A group of six and a group of twelve run as the same session at the same table count. It changes once the group is big enough to need parallel rooms running at the same time, because that needs more facilitators — which is where The Big Build starts. The method itself scales from a pair of people up to hundreds.
How long is a session, and does that change the price?
Two hours is the ideal length — enough for a room to build, share and decide without feeling rushed. From there it flexes with the scenario in front of us and what your business has room for, and we settle on the right length together on the discovery call.
Do you charge for the discovery call?
No. The discovery call is where the focus questions get designed, and it happens before you commit to anything. If it turns out a facilitated session isn't the right answer for what you're describing, you'll hear that on the call rather than after the invoice.
Do you require a deposit?
A 20% deposit confirms the date once the discovery call has shaped the session. That covers the design work that happens ahead of the day. The balance is invoiced 7 days before the session and is due before it runs.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancel 14 or more days out and the balance is refunded in full — the deposit covers the design work already done. Inside 14 days, half the balance is still owed; inside 7 days, the full fee stands, since the day is blocked and the room is prepped by then. One reschedule is free with at least 5 business days' notice.
Do you travel outside Melbourne?
Yes. Brick Spark is Melbourne based and Chris travels Australia-wide by arrangement. Travel is quoted alongside the session rather than folded into the headline number, so you can see exactly what it adds.
Do we need to buy any LEGO®?
No. Every brick comes with Chris, including the kit each participant takes home. All you need to provide is a room with decent tables.
What if we're not sure it's right for us?
Take the free fit assessment first. It's ten questions and it gives a straight verdict, including when the answer is that a workshop won't fix what you're describing. There's also a page on the six formats if you want to see which room you're actually in.
Three steps from enquiry to outcome.
Discovery call
No charge, no obligation. We map your objective and design the questions the session is built around.
The session
Facilitated end to end — everyone builds, everyone speaks, and the room works toward a decision it can act on.
Actions & 30-day follow-up
You leave with a written action list against names, and a follow-up call to check the actions landed.
